In 2010 I was commissioned by Kirklees Council’s arts agency, Loca, to document a creative consultation project along a stretch of the River Spen in North Kirklees. The project involved local people exploring the special qualities of the river environment and to come up with ideas for environmental improvements. Loca commissioned artist, Kerry Morrison, to lead the creative consultation work during May, June and July. I followed Kerry around with a sketch book and pen to capture an essence of her work and people’s interactions and responses with her.
